The combat system is perfectly adapted to touch screens, such that you just have to tap the screen to do quick hits, or swipe (in any direction) to do strong hits. If you tap the screen with two fingers, you'll raise your guard and shield yourself from enemy attacks.
When you manage to deliver a few blows to your enemy, you'll start filling up your 'special' bar. Once this bar is full, you can click it to do a devastating blow and inflict even more pain on your opponent. Additionally, the fights are usually three against three, so you can combine the abilities of your three robots just by tapping on their images (on the left).
As typically occurs in this kind of game, at the beginning you only have a few robots available, but little by little you can unlock more robots to use during your fights. What's more, you can level them up if you get repeat robot cards.
Ultimate Robot Fighting is a fun fighting game with a gaming system well-adapted to touch devices and outstanding 'cell shading' graphics. On top of that, the design of some of the robots is spot-on.
